(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clapham, London, 26 Nov 2016) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with orange peel, rye bread, toast and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, dried apricots, crisp-bread and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle at home, 29/01/17. Hazed amber with a well appointed cream cap. Nose is caramel, bread, straw, fruit esters, light floral notes. Taste comprises caramel malt, rye evident, light spice, light herbal notes, bread dough, orange rinds, chalky mineral bite. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Ok but not really setting my beer world alight.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Whole Foods Richmond. Pours mostly clear amber-gold, effervescent, with a foamy, off-white head. Big grainy malt aroma, with notes of ripe citrus, orange peel, lightly toasted malts. Light-medium sweet flavour with just faint minerality, touches of white grape, melon, more citrus fruits, bitter orange rind, bready pale malts. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more lightly toasted grains, drying minerals, a dash of pine resin, more rindy citrus. Not bad overall.

Slightly fruity aroma with a touch of peach, malty background with a touch of rye crispbread.
