Isle Of Wight Holiday Beet#37. Session golden ale. Hopped, a little watery. Traditional taste. Sat on the one single seater bench out front, which is directly over the cellar doors. Plus it was before 2pm so technically I shouldn't have been there.

Bottle in Brighstone, IOW. Azacca and Columbus hops. Clear amber beer, good white head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, a light creamy sweetness. The hops provide a pleasing juicy hop fruitiness, a mild Azacca lemon lifts the juicy citrus peel. Finishes with a zing. Nice. IOW beers taste better close to home, who knew?

Cask (Castle, Sandown) - Light amber. Dried fruit, apricot and a hint of tea in the aroma. Slightly biscuity taste with notes of dried apricot, marmalade and sultanas.
