Bottle. A- Coffee, chocolate, roasty. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Roasty, earthy, coffee, chocolate, dry, mild bitterness. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- Had this on tap and bottle in the same day. Must say it was like two different beers. The tap version was not so hot, which followed the case of most of the beers I had on tap at Listermann's that day. The bottle version was much better as has been the case with other Listermann bottles I've had. Perhaps they have dirty lines or something? Maple and vanilla were not detectable but otherwise this was a nice stout. Would've liked more maple, vanilla, and sweetness but pretty solid.
