Draft/Fest. A- Coffee, bitter, earthy. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Roasty, bitter, coffee. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- Pretty standard coffee beer. Fair amount of bitterness, roasty and earthy notes, and light touch of sweetness. Decent beer. Also my third beer in a row with the name "Joe" in it.

On draft at Jackson Whole Grocer. Pours opaque black with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and leather. Flavors are bitter roast.

Pours black, good head of tannish foam, good lacing.
Nose is big notes of coffee, some roasted malt, dark chocolate.
Coffee flavour is robust yet smooth. Roasted malt and dark chocolate are supporting players.
Medium body with medium carbonation.
Good coffee beer.
