Draught @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan (Jan 2024). Hazy dark yellow with a very small frothy off-white head that dissipates fast, funky aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter, slightly sour, and funky Brett taste, thin body, long finish with some throat burn at the end. Interesting beer.

Sampling at the source: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is spicy and really fruity. Taste is nice and spicy with interesting fruity notes. Not as bretty as expected. Weird. Well done.

Bottle shared in NYC. Pours unclear yellow with a creamy white head. Lots of brett in the nose, some lemon, pale bread, melon. Light sweet flavor with some lemon meringue, mellow citrusy tartness, wheat bread, dough, faint hay. Light bodied with lively carbonation and velvety texture. Pretty clean in the finish, bready malts, citrus, faint funk. Fine.
