Bottle shared by Grumbo. Aroma is toast, butter, marmalade, roasted malts, caramel and fruity. Slightly carbonated and decent body. Started sweet and got more sour to finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 14/09/24. Lighter shade of black with a khaki head that thins to the edge. Nose is dark malts, charr, herb, light roast, pine nip, bramble berries. Taste comprises dried fruits, liquorice, charr, herb, burnt toffee, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Okay CDA.

27/6/2024. Bottle bought at Beer Park, Llanelli. Pours dark mahogany brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is roasted, nutty, caramel, cooking chocolate, fruity, toasted, hint of pine. Moderate sweetness, medium drying bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Sourish finish. Not as good as hoped.

Cask @ Tenby Tap + Kitchen, Tenby. Almost black - perhaps a bit of brown, with an off-white creamy head. Well-hopped so there's a dominant tropical fruitiness to a dark-malty base.

Dark amber/brown with a white/tan head. Aromas of herbs, malts, some cocoa, even a hint of salt. Taste adds some dark fruit. Very nice.
