Bottle bought at Hogs Back Brewery Shop a while back. Opaque amber. Thick foamy white head. Aroma os low key - vinous, hoppy, the beers combines tart vinous notes and hops with a creay underbelly. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat bitter finish. Nice.

14/5/2024. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours slightly hazy dark orange gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sour orange, citrus, herb, yeast, rubbery funky edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, very light sourness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Dry finish.

Bottle at and thanks to James, 13/04/24. Hazed orange amber with a lasting just off white head. Nose is earthy fruits, vinous, funk, earthy citric peel, grass. Taste comprises lemon rind, hedgerow, dirt, hedgerow, barnyard tones. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, drying close with a light acidic spring and dusted with earthy hop bitterness. Not bad for the style but not blown away with this one.

Bottle via the online shop. Moderate haze on a medium gold. Very decent thick firm white foam. Lovely swede retention on all three of these beers. Nose has berry fruits. Blueberry and ripe strawberry. Light bright sappy oak. Some light herbal medicinal notes in the background. Taste has some fruity sweetness with a big hit of juicy herbal hop bitterness. Lots of body and plenty going on throughout. Foamy carbonation. Oaky woody bittersweet finish. Compared to the others this is bolder on the bitterness and feels less balanced as a result. I’d still be happy popping a bottle every day of the week, mind.
