Cask at GBBF Winter, Rotherham. Feb 2025. Pours clear chestnut with beige head. Aroma: biscuit, malt, toffee, mild chocolate, dried fruit. The taste follows, towrads moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. Nice drop.

500ml bottle from Beer District, Buxton. Pours dark brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of toffee & malt. Sweet malty finish.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of fruit malt loaf, dried fruits, toffee and maybe a bit nutty. Followed through nicely with the dried fruit and the malts. Decent body to it. Enjoyed it.

4/3/2022. Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours clear amber mahogany with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is bready, malty, toffee, chocolate, dried fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily with average to soft carbonation. Looked great, nicely done esb.
