Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma is slightly damp wheat, perfume, herbal and lemon. Taste is quite weak and akin to slightly flavoured fizzy water. Hints of citrus and herb but not much to it. Quite fizzy.

5/10/2021. Bottle from Beer Without Borders. Pours slightly hazy pale golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is modest, wheaty, dull citrus, coriander, yeasty notes. Medium sweetness, low bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, quite gassy. Became sweeter, slightly medicinal in finish. It's okay.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 24A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L050397 (BBF 04/2021). AROMA: medium wheaty aromatics with a blend of some clove phenolics and some low coriander and fruity esters (orange-like) not zesty. APPEARANCE: straw color and hazy. medium-large white head, creamy, with average retention. some large particulates in suspension. TASTE: initial medium-low wheat flavor combined with yeast (uncooked bread). slight low lemony background. medium-high bitterness with a bit harsh character. finishes dry and bitter. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-high carbonation. slight harsh bitterness and astringency. OVERALL: a witbier that smells better than it tastes and with a bit distracting harshness.
