26/12/2019. Bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours clear red amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of blackcurrants, brett yeast, citrus, wood, red wine, touch medicinal. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy tartness, slight salty edge. Medium body, slight watery texture, average carbonation, dry finish. Very good.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the T&T web shop. Pours an attractive, mostly clear blood red, but there's really no head, just a few vanishing bubbles. Nice character though, some a fair bit of tart berries, blackcurrants, mellow acidity, a little pale wood dryness, ample farmhouse funk. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tart finish, more tangy berries, decent funk, leather, cherry, blackcurrants, a little lemon and salt. Overall, quite solid. One of the better offerings from this brewery.
