Keg at Brew Club - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a light, creamy mocha head. Great beer, with nice dried and tart, lightly jammy dark fruits, berries, low acidity, a little red wine, toated wood. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Light warmth in the finish, background roast, black currants, raisins, blueberry. Great stuff. Wonderful depth.

20/11/2019. Draught at Brew Club, Hackney. Poured very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of dark fruit, sour berries, moderate roasted malt, vanilla, caramel and chocolate. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, moderate tartness. Medium plus body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Finish is fruity sour. Enjoyed this.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Fairly viscous, dark brown pour. Sits in the glass an unclear, dark mahogany brown. Slim ring and a light covering of lasting, tan head. Nose has red wine dregs. Fusty oak. Touch of balsamic. Some chocolate malts. Hint of vanilla and coconut. Some steeped vine fruit. Taste has all bases covered, with a tart, fruity, vinous feel, and just a light sweetness on the lips. Medium body. Hint of acidity. Fine carbonation. Tart, vinous, and fairly juicy on the finish. Great stuff.
