Bottle at home from a random garden centre driving back from a couple of business meetings in Essex. I then had to collect dog 1 from the dog repair shop and drop daughter 2 at drama. This beer was needed. Bit of crud in the bottle and overall a standard bitter.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a light coppery orange with a fluffy off white to tan head. Aroma is spicy grainy. Taste is nice light bitter, caramel, toffee, malty.

12/8/2020. Cask take-out from the Duke, Ipswich. Pours clear darkish amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, hoppy, fruity, floral, touch nutty. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Really nice example of a traditional sessionable English bitter.
