2/1/2021. Attractive swing-top bottle from the Norfolk Food & Drink Co, Cromer. As Fat Cat DIPA 6.1% (brewed in memory of Davy 'The Train'). Pours hazy/cloudy golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of hops, ripe stone fruits and tropical fruits, orange and straw. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, average to soft carbonation. Earthy bittersweet finish. Nicely done.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. As Fat Cat ’25PA’. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Soft and sweetish malts. Very mild creamy malt. Good smooth piney hop. Ripe citrus. A little sweetish mango intertwined with floral bitterness. Light semi dry finish. Tidy.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 19/2/2017. Deep gold in colour with a slight, white, head. Tangerine and tropical fruits, citrus hops, solid malts and a decent, dryish, finish with hint of pine. Good.
