18/9/2021. Bottle shared with J&K. Bought direct from the brewer. Pours clear dark amber with a small frothy/creamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hops, plumy dried fruits, touch of veg. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a sour edge. Moderate body, average carbonation.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival in KEGS! Clear dark brown beer, little pale tan suddy head. Palate is light and a little dry. Tangy sweetness under slightly watery malt. Turns sweeter with mild candy fruits. Mild minerals. Light semi dry finish. Not bad, interesting flavours but the body is somewhat hollow.
