26/6/2021: Shared with Dan & Grumbo at the Euro 2020(1) watchathon. Aroma of caramel and veg. Sweet taste with slight carbonation. Apart from the veg getting stronger as time went on there is not a lot going on. Not one of my favourites.

Botella de @Barona Craft Beer House. Castelo de Vide. 01/07/2021. Color amarillo corona de espuma blanca, aromas cereal, sabor cereal notas levadura, herbales, cuerpo ligero.

26/6/2021. Bottle shared with Dan & ITFCfan at the Euro16 beer share. From Beer Without Borders, Dumfries. Pours almost clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, butter, veg. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Veggie side to it grows. Not great.

330ml bottle, online from Beer Without Borders, Dumfries. Pours light hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: cereal, light fruity, citrus hints. Taste: light sweet & bitter, pale malts, fruity citrus. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Decent enough blonde ale

From bottle at Cervejaria Boheme, Faro, 17.07.17. 5,5 % ABV. Cloudy golden orange. Diminishing white head. Moderate aroma, with some citrus and boiled vegetables. Taste of pale malt, caramel, American hops, citrus, carrots and some fruityness.

Re-rating (previous 1.7). Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 18A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 855/858 (BB 10/2024). AROMA: medium-low grainy-neutral malt character with slight sweetness. low background notes of sulphur and cereal husk with faint metallic. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and clear. medium off-white head with medium retention. some lace formation. TASTE: initial medium malt flavor with a neutral-sweet character. minerally background notes with some cereal husk. medium-high bitterness in excess for style. dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body com medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a blond ale with some execution flaws and excessive bitterness.
