Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a bright lemon with a greenish tinge, a small off-white head and good lacing. The nose has floral hops with a hint of grapefruit. In the mouth it is slightly sweet initially, with floral hops, biscuits and a dollop of citrus. After a while the hops come to dominate, leading to a slightly dry finish. This is a decent IPA.

26/2/2022. Bottle shared with the ITFC boys at the Morecambe tasting. From Raise The Bar, Chapel en le Frith. Pours clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, sweet malt, grass, touch herbal. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation.

Bottle. Chatsworth House Farm Shop. Hazy, lemon gold colour. Thin and lasting, white head. Nose has sweet grain. Lemon pith and rind. Some floral notes, not unlike elderflower. Taste is light, floral bitterness. Some worty sweetness. Light body. Soft carbonation. Light bitterness to finish. Fairly muted affair.
