4/6/2022. Can at the Teterow GP beer share. From Craft Metropolis, Penge. Northamptonshire rating #250. Pours very dark ruby brown with a small bubbly/frothy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, banana, roasted malt, pastry, peanut. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of tart. Medium to full bodied, creamy/sticky mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Typically good Three Hills stout.

Can. Opaque black brown beer with a small tan head. Smooth palate, almost silky, decent fine carbonation. Well there is no doubting this is a banana beer! Ripe Cavendish banana and a little bruised of the same variety. Plenty of Gros Michel banana and banana foam sweets. What lets this edition down is the dark malt base, there is nothing wrong with it, smooth and silky, but there is no depth to the flavour at all, just a one note mellow dark malt flavours. Some chocolate malts would have been very welcome here. Still it's a fun beer and pretty easy quaffing.
