A golden clean, malty style Helles lager. Refreshingly low bitterness from the hops is complimented by the slightly sweet and rich malt character.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer. Pours clear, rich honey-gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, some chlorophenolic notes, faint biscuits, straw, minerals. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. More chlorophenols in the finish, sweet pale bread. Not the best.

440ml Can from Redland Stores, Bristol. Deep gold in colour, with a short-lived, white, head. Malty aroma with a touch of flinty minerals. Flavour of ripe lager malts, with a hint of stone fruit and a moderately bitter finish.A decent lager.
