Almost clear deep reddish amber beer, tidy bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and mildy dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light malts, mild creamy sweetness with a little caramel, fairly well buried. Some fairly robust ripe fruits with a rich if tangy and slightly spicy red wine that brings juicy berries. Light and semi dry finish. Interesting brew. Tangy but never sour, winey but never defined by the wine ba. Just something that is a little different and decent with it.

16/9/2022. Bottle shared by SHIG, cheers. Pours very dark brown with a maroon tint and minimal head. Aroma is woody, dark fruits, raisins, grape, toffee, slight meaty notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light sourness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Tangy tart woody finish. Enjoyed this.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 07/07/22. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige covering that dissipates edgewards. Nose is dark fruit rinds, dates, cocoa powder, spice, toffee, raisins. Taste comprises tangy fruit esters, vinous, red grape skins, funky, earthy, toffee, dates, prunes, damp oak, red wine barrel evident. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering climax. Tidy quad ... quite sour and bitter compared to the norm and pretty complex to boot.
