Panda thanks to Kenneth via Cloin: Poured a deep dark brown with reddish edges and a bubble tan head. Aroma is raspberry fruit, rich malts, chocolate. Taste is raspberry semi tart fruit, chocolate and rich malts balance it out.

Lighter shade of black topped with a fast escaping tan head.
Nose is light smoke, tangy raspberries, charr, dark malts.
Taste comprises bitter sweet raspberries, dark malts, spice, charr, mellow and well blended Speyside tones, vanilla essence.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light whisper of alcohol.
Tidy sipper.

Can. Near clear dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy palate, smooth and getting on for semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin bodied dark malts, trace of dark chocolate. Raspberry is front and centre here. Both tart and jammy and impressively rich. The whiskey barrel adds a ripe fruity complexity but, it is second fiddle to the raspberry. Well then, this is a big ol' fruit beer really. Amusing.

25/2/2023. Can bought direct from the Brewery. Shared at SBGP1. Pours almost black with a small tan coloured head. Good looking beer. Aroma of raspberry, chocolate, peanut, biscuit. Moderate sweetness and sourness. Medium to full body, creamy, soft carbonation. Lip smacking tart finish. Enjoyed this.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is raspberry jam, tart red berries, prunes, can't detect any chocolate.Taste is raspberry jam, chocolate (certainly comes through in the flavour), prunes, sweet tobacco, tart red berries.More akin to an (Imperial) oud bruin than an impy. Good though.
