Red Nelson is a ruby red beer at 4.7% with enough strength to give it a kick. We've blended Nelson Sauvin with some big citrus hops to give a mouth-watering full flavour of Sauvignon Blanc grape and gooseberry, balanced against the gentle caramel of dark Munich and Crystal malts.

27/9/2023. Cask at the Spread Eagle, Ipswich. Pours clear dark amber brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, bread, malt, hints of white grape, gooseberry and cooking chocolate. Medium sweetness and moderate developing bitterness. Medium body, very soft carbonation. Interesting concept, didn’t fully work for me but was a grower.
