24/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear bright golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of malt, biscuit, caramel, passion fruit and peach. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Well done.

Cask at The Murderers, Norwich. It pours clear rich gold with a small white head. The aroma is rich, sweet grapefruit, lemon peel, honey, biscuit and cereal. The taste is rich, bitter, straw, grapefruit, lemon parfait, zesty, floral and biscuit malt base with a dry, slightly spiced finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty flavoursome for the style. A good strong golden ale.
