29/2/2024. Bottle courtesy of Reuben, cheers. Pours unclear pale amber brown with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is smoked, sausage, malty, mild honey, charred woody notes. Medium sweetness, smoked bitterness, light sours. Moderate body, quite fizzy. Drying smoked finish. Didn’t hate it but wasn’t keen.

12oz bottle pours a clear, burnt gold with some white head. Nose is honey and smoke and sausage. Taste is metallic, malt, chipotle. Finish is merciful.

Bottle from Total Wine and More, St Petersburg, FL. Pours light brown, a little murky with an off-white ring of head. Big toffee aroma, some woodsmoke, a bit of gravy. Sweet taste, more smoke, a bit of tamarind, thin caramel. Bitterness (not too much mind) appears in the finish. Medium carbonation. Surprisingly good.

Smoked and some honey. Pretty potent aroma. Tangy odd finish. Cloys with you for a while. Dark golden pour with decent head.
