10/2/2024. Can shared by ITFCDan. Pours close to black with a small beige head. Aroma is very plummy, sweet malts, chocolate, caramel, milk sugars, hint of seaweed. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness and light sours. Moderate body, oily, average to soft carbonation.

Can on 712 heading South, from an online peddler, 26/02/23. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a.swirl. Nose is dark malts, cocoa powder, charr, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate, hint of berry fruits, mellow roast, charr, light ashen tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Okay.

440ml can from Vinny & Ted, Chalfont St Peter. Poured almost black with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, light plums. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sour, with a smooth, rich, earthy, grainy, big tart plum palate. Over medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice, but a little heavy on the plums.

Creamy tan head on a still black body. Wet cardboard, damp & malt aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a clean back. Berries, umami, HP sauce, plum & jam tastes with a tangy saline finish. Quite moorish.

Definitely getting some plum. Smooth ruch thick mouthfeel, but nothing that is clearly buckwheat.
