Can at home picked up from HOTM. A dark reddish brown black coloured pour with a fine mid tan head. Aroma is woody bark, woodland fruit, bruised plum, brown malts, char, damp ash. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tart plum, pinch of salt, mellow roast, bark, toasted plum, bark. Palate is semi sweet, tart, highish carbonation.

Keg @ Northern Monk Refectory, Manchester. Black with a thin light brown head. Its plum is light against more dominant but not stated roasted malts, although these are fairly gritty. Slips down the palate relatively easy though.
