Bottle shared at the CBJ tasting, thanks to the Wingmane, 12/06/24. Black topped with a khaki head that thins over time. Nose is chocolate, nutty, dark malts, caramel. Taste comprises roast malts, caramel, hazelnut, chocolate melt, molasses. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost offered. Okay sipper but a little on the sweet side ... needs more balance.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to Dave. Pours clear deep brown with a small, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, quite sugary, some liquefied caramel, vanilla, berries. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Sugary, cloying finish, lightly warming. Not bad.

Bottle at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. An opaque black brown coloured pour with a loose dark tan head.. Aroma is red velvety brown sugars, peanut, pancake batter. Palate is medium sweet, oily, super sweet.

Bottleshare at CBJ, thanks to Wingman. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and mildly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth creamy dark malts, rich ripe fruits and whisky barrel ripe fruits. Airy spicy finish. Decent candyish Impy.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, coconut, taste is similar, meaty, nutty, some cream.
