Аромат сильный, сладкий, много ванили и шоколада. Цвет супер темный, пены не наблюдается вовсе. Вкус несмотря на двойной портер весьма средняя и не маслянистая. Ощущается сладость ванили и бельгийского шоколада. Послевкусие с кислинкой, шоколада и легкой жженочки. Также ощущается сахар, но при этом нету приторности. Отличный портер, как по мне.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel and licorice aroma. Roasted malty licorice and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel and licorice finish.

Minimal beige collar on a reddish brown still body. Huge cinnamon aroma with aniseed. Medium bodied, soft on the palate thinning out to the back leaving an oily finish. Overkill of aniseed, cinnamon, Black Jack sweets & a citrus finish

0,5 flaske fra Tofts Vinhandel på Islands brygge (København), i lejligheden nov-17: brunsort med godt skum der varer - blonder og film. Mørkrøstede malter, italiensk espresso, dessertchokolader, kardemomme og et snev af nellike og muskatnød. Superbalancered, fed og samtidigt let drikkelig.

500 ml well aged bottle. Pitch black body with a small, dense beige head. Strong and very nice aroma of smooth dark malt, dark chocolate, dry fruit, vanilla, hint of Christmas spices. Flavor is very smooth, gently roasted dark malt, dark chocolate, dry fruit, vanilla and spices like ginger and other Christmas spices. Well balanced, fine body and long lasting pleasant aftertaste. A solid and very smooth beer that storage probably has been a good thing considering the spicy flavor is still quite strong. Solid.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with huge foamy light brown head. Aroma is intense vanilla and fudge but also coffee, mint, licorice, prunes and cookies. Taste is very sweet, light bitter and light acidic. Body is milky with soft carbonation. Finish is long, sweet and intense with notes of vanilla, cream, butter, cookies, fudge, milk chocolate and prunes. Very intense and sweet and well balanced.

Bottle 500ml. @ Craig’s House - Edinburgh. [ As Hornbeer Julemumme ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, spicy, anis seed, tart notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, anis seed, chocolate, dark malt. Aroma: Sweet dry fruits with raisins and prunes and port like notes. Flavour: Roasted malt and dark sweet berries with spices. Aftertaste is roasted malt and fruity bitter. Colour: Very dark reddish brown with a tan head. From: Bottle @ Voldby Købmandsgård Nov. 2016.
