330ml bottle Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, maple. Taste is very rich, chocolate, sweet maple and vanilla, caramel, some base roast malts still there, nice bourbon kick and alcohol warmth. Full bodied, smooth, thick. Loved this, still got some of the base stout even with adjuncts and barrel getting in on the action. Beautiful.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, decent bubbly darkish tan head. Smooth dark chocolate cakey malts, a fair dose of salted caramel. Good bourbon barrel and, pretty forward. Rich ripe fruity bourbon with savoury and spicy edges. Finishes smooth with a good sip of straight bourbon. Rich and rather good fun!

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, vanilla, coconut, caramel, taste is similar, meaty, marshmallow, hint of maple syrup. 4.3

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 21/12/24. Black with a tan head that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla essence, dark malts, mellow barrel. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, hint of coffee, maple syrup, brown sugar melt, modest barrel tones. Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy sipper but lacks any discernible barrel presence.
