On tap. Pours black with very slight tan head. Aromas of coconut, molasses, vanilla, black sour coffee, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on strong almost sour coffee and green coconut. Tasty but way off balance. Cant drink too much…

Keg at doghouse merchant City. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coconut, cream, raisin, taste is creamy, liquorice, chocolate, meaty.

Keg at BrewDoge Tower Hill, 08/11/24. Black with a thin tan head ... almost needn't have bothered appearing! Nose is chocolate, caramel, dark malts, coconut shavings, light roast. Taste comprises chocolate, booze tunes, mellow roast, caramel, vanilla essence, light fruit tang. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Okay sipper but a touch overly sweet and lacking balance.

Tap at BrewDog Soho, London 22/11/2024 Dark sweet malty with notes of chocolate, fudge and caramel, getting some wooden vanilla coconut washed accents coming through, an unexpected vinous edge, full to medium plus body, coconut is very tempered into the malty warming finish.
