Handpull cask at the Geldart, Cambridge. Light brown or very, very dark gold. Murky, which doesnโ€™t bother me, but Iโ€™m wondering if itโ€™s supposed to be like this. Creamy off-white head and a fair bit of lacing. Biscuit malt scent with a light underlying suggestion of papaya. Itโ€™s a malt bomb for sure, and the intense sweetness stands unchallenged until about halfway through the sip. Then you get a tenacious bitterness with leafy hops on the back of the tongue. Long bittersweet finish. A neat little recipe.
