Can in the garden, shared with dad, 5th April 2025. Pours hazy orange. Aroma is orange and csncdoed fruits, tropical and the taste is tropical and fruits,,
Bittersweet
Can from Kerrera, Guildford. Waxy pale light orange. Thick microbubbled foamy white head. Aroma has juicy sweet stone fruit. Resinous and herbal edge. Interesting. Stone fruit and porridgy sweetness. Sugary. Juicy. Soon followed by a bitter wave of resin and herbs with peripheral vinous notes. Juicy and tangy with a hit of bitterness. The sweetness - a milky element - reasserts itself in the final moments. Medium bodied. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Good stuff. Not sure what it's got to to do with Ash. A recipe from the Necronomicon, although I guess CAMRA dudes would vuew this kind of DNEIPA as both evil and dead.

7th December 2024
Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally crispness. Somewhat this malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine. Slightly ripe citric hops. Mild hop spice. Light and semi dry finish. Yeah, serves it's label but, for me, not the most exciting dipa around and I think this is underpar for Rivington whose standards are pretty high.

Can from The Craft Beer Cabin, Bromley. Milky orange pour with a white head. Nose is grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, pine, white grape. Dank, earthy taste. Lots of grapefruit, passionfruit, white grape & tropical fruits. Lots of bitter hops on the palate, leaves quite a mark. Very good.

Can at home, picked up from HOTM online, 13/11/24. Murky orange topped with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, pine resin, Nelson nip, guava, bitter orange, stone fruit, papaya. Taste comprises mango flesh, hop spice, mandarin, gooseberries, stone fruit, pine resin, lychee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close peppered with juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow background boost. Tidy punchy DIPA ... Nelson evident but not overly dominating.
