0,3l on tap @ Hitachino Brewing Lab Kanda Manseibashi. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is clean malts with herbal hops. Flavor is clean malts, herbal notes, some hops. Good.

Can from Aeon Omihachiman Hitachino Nest Green Hops 4.5% Brassy gold with a soapy white fast-disappearing foam. The aroma is minty herbal yet subtly fruity. Medium bodied and relatively smooth. The taste is bitter green herbal but with earthy and that soapy tasting purple gum fruitiness(Thrills?). It’s ok but like most Japanese fresh hop beers it doesn’t quite work.

Tap at their Tokyo Distillery. Medium golden color, clear. Bright hop nose, leafy, herbal, and touch of dankness. Stone fruit, esters. Light and very fruity flavor, grassy and herbal, quite estery. Light body. Finish is a bit dirty. Not bad for a Japanese hop fresh hop ale, but nothing special as expected. Nice enough.
