Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2015, National Winter Ales Festival (2015), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Pentrich Three Graves ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, cacao. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, cacao, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150212] 6-3-7-3-14

Cask at The Black Bulls Head, Open Woodgate, Derbyshire, Friday 9th September 2016 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Fruity (dark fruit skins) on the nose and immediately in the mouth, nice bitter linger with chocolate also coming to the party and perhaps just a faint hint of coffee. Lovely beer.
