Not sure what qualifies a beer as a “hoppy ale” rather than an IPA or pale ale, but this comes across as a straightforward IPA, with a burst of juicy grapefruit, passion fruit, flowers, and peach followed by a modest grainy malt note and a good dose of yeast. Finishes dry with a touch of hop burn on the finish. Not bad.
