Dark brown almost black with a two-finger tan head. Aroma is roasted grains, coffee, and malts. Taste is also dark roasted grains and coffee.

12 ounce can. Jet black pour. Dense, frothy tan head is enduring. Layered lacing. Slightly sweet, earthy, roasted malt aroma. Roasted malt flavor upfront hints at dark chocolate, toasted almonds and malted milk. Very smooth and soft on the palate. Some smokiness and tobacco on the backend.
Okay beer. Light and easy. Not too bold. Almond is very mild. But it’s clean, and drinkable. Beertemple ams. Again, 3.5 to 3.6 upgrade

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Daytona Beach. Pours a pitch black color with a tan head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Dark chocolate aroma. Very dark roasted malt flavor with some bittering dark chocolate in the finish. Clean, semi-creamy, and smooth. Not as sweet as some milk stouts. A little thin for the style. Decent carbonation. Some bitterness from the dark chocolate. Good all-around stout.

Keg at Last Cast Hartsfield, 1/21/22. Missed this one. A pastry stout with no lactose! How refreshing. Dark brown. Chocolate and sweet almond aroma. Taste is chocolate, earth. Thin, well balanced.

Pretty basic, with subtle unsweetened chocolate notes and a bright, not altogether wanted berry acidity. Finishes with a hint of roast and sweetness, but makes for an altogether unremarkable stout.
Brown pour. Sweet almond nose. Lactose and slight almond flavor with a hint of hops. Delicious almond milkshake palate

Black with an enormous fluffy tan head that lingered forever and left great lacing. Dryish and toasty with a lactic presence and hints of chocolate and almond. Medium finish and body.
