Not bad, a nice blend of tropical fruit, grapefruit, peach, and a little dank. Finishes with a gentle pine-mineral bitterness and lingering fruity notes. Pretty darn drinkable.

12 oz. can, 6.3% ABV

AROMA: Strong scents of sour lemon and hemp with lighter notes of grass, resin, and hops. The "funk" seems out of place with the other scents and is a little off-putting to me.

APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a tight, frothy head that dissipates slowly and has minimal lacing. Looks-wise it reminds me of lemonade shandy ... very inviting, very refreshing. Taste-wise is a different story.

TASTE: Slightly sweet on the front-end and bitter on the back-end. Flavors are mostly pine and lemon. I'm finding that the flavor is better as the beer warms up a bit. It isn't quite so bitter and the lemon flavor mellows a bit. Everything seems to meld better and the flavors don't fight each other so much.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied with slightly tacky texture and average carbonation. Finish is dry and on the bitter side.

OVERALL: I don't find this to be a very memorable beer. Other than the off-putting "funk" aroma, there's nothing particularly wrong with it. It's just that it doesn't stand out in a crowded craft beer market. I got this in a Wicked Weed sampler pack of 4 different beers, and to be honest, I'm finding the flavor profiles of the 4 beers to be very similar to each other. However, this particular beer seems to be the most unique flavor of the 4. The other 3 are somewhat difficult to differentiate.

12oz can (6pack) bought in Asheville. Decent NEIPA - fairly generic as NEIPA's go, but still solid
