Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a large white head. A big caramel and toast nose with light citrus. Medium bitterness, caramel, toast, more big caramel, oranges. Light sweet Amarillo.

Not bad, just a bit clunky, with wort-ish wet malt notes undermining the caramel and toasted bread base. The hops add pleasing lines of grapefruit, mandarin, lemondrops, and pine, yet a yeasty breadiness pops up in the fade, one a bit too pronounced and not altogether harmonious with the oily, lingering bitter finish. Chewy texture makes for a pleasant feel, but, as a whole, this pint could use some fine-tuning.
