Nice stout, sweet but not unbearably so, with a deep, rich dark chocolate heart backed up by veins of molasses, anise, and coffee cherry. Finishes with a subtle berry tartness underneath the vanilla and roast. Alcohol stays hidden. Verges on becoming syrupy as it warms, but still very drinkable.
