(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 31 Jan 2024) Cloudy golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity nose with citrus, lemon, vanilla and egg liqueur. Fruity, slightly tart taste with notes of orange, lemon, mango, pineapple, vanilla, white bread and a mild herbal/spicy bitterness. Almost full body, quite sweet. A bit all over the place, but rich and tasty. Very nice.

On tap at Man in the Moon. Hazy orange with a small white head. Lactose, nutmeg, fruit and a lot of vanilla. Not a favourite.

Fairly hazy deep copper and bronze coloured body with a large, five to six centimetre tall, microfoamed tan head, a bit deeper than you'd expect with a 90 per cent opaque glow, all under that head. Aroma of tons of vanilla, cream, nutmeg, flowers, tea and especially canella with a good deal of both alcohol and residual sugars (seemingly icing sugar here) that are potent in the nose. Full-bodied; Very rich vanilla, lactosey and super creamy flavour up front with a lot of the nutmeg, canella and herbal/tea notes very strong here and a touch of hop bitterness noticeable at the end, but not much. Aftertaste is very potent and pungent with the alcohol and cloying sugars here from the lactose, but the vanilla, cream and canella are quite strong, too, with a lot of malts and not too much 'traditional' hops or alpha acids here - this is deep and tastes way sweeter than a 'traditional' IPA. Overall, funky and fairly nice - the spices aren't really Christmasy, but this is sweet and showing a good deal of alcohol throughout. Nice to sample, but not really worth trying to find, unless you want an American Strong (sweet one at that!) that tastes like a strong 'white stout'. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Bread & Honey in New York (56th @ 8th Avenue), New York for US$6,29 sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-February-2022.

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Light citrus and light spice aroma. Lactose and x-mas spice flavor with vanilla and citrus. Medium bodied. Decent-good bitterness. Lactose and spice linger with vanilla and light citrus.
