Mild tree bark and moss nose. Black, medium tan head, fair amount of lacing. Dry, wood and walnut, hints of treacle but still quite dry. Light body, soft carbonation. Quite sessionable. I'm not a huge fan of this brewery, but I love what they did with this.

Black with a small white head. Buttery, off and almost rancid with a bit of toasty malt. Long finish. Medium body.

English pint murky black, translucent with some sticky, beige head. Nose is malt and oats and some brown bread and earthy notes. Flavor is chewy with malt, lovely brown bread note. Oats add so much body too. Just off dry. Creamy.

16 oz. can from HEB, Boerne, TX. Pours a clear, very dark brown color with a large beige head and very good retention. Light lacing. Dark roasted malt aroma. Similar dark roasted malts with dark chocolate and nuts flavor. The body is a little light for a porter, and higher carbonation than a typical porter too. Low bitterness. No coffee notes. Very tasty and easily repeatable. Brewed by Urban Chestnut Brewing in Missouri.

Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 10/10/22. Dark brown, medium brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, earth, coffee, bit of cherry. Taste is roast, cherry, coffee. Decent balance. Simple, but very nice.

Roast and some coffee. Not a huge amount of flavour here, bit easy drinking. Light bitter finish. Black pour with ok head. Beer from Churchkey advent calendar.

Can, from Malt & Mold. Pours faintly murky dark brown with large foamy beige head, mocha aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter coffee taste, thin body, long finish. A bit weak but certainly tasty.
