Bourbon infused Abbey Ale.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of malt, sweet caramel fudge, raisin and dates. Taste has ripe fruit, dates, raisin, caramel, herbal malt and some vanilla. Bourbon is only faintly there. Just a sweet dubbel.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Clear mahogany with small beige head. Cloves, aniseed, bitter herbs, vanilla, sweet sugary malts, pear. Quite herbs with aromatic aniseed-like notes. Quite sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel. Meh.
