Weird IPA, with notes of orange juice, pine, citrus zest, and a touch of resinous funk. Not a lot of bitterness for a beer this piney. Feels like it’s missing something.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimeter tall off-white head that fades very quickly above the 75 per cent opaque body. Aroma of grass, lemons, hay, flowers, grapefruit and some light malty scents with some sugars seemingly here, too. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong dry and grassy flavours dominate with a big floral and perfumey component with some grapefruit and citrusey notes that give off some bitterness and balance with the pretty rich wheatie and easy-drinking malts. Aftertaste shows a dry, almost peppery finish, with a nice bitterness from the grapefruity and floral notes with a rich, but balanced malt aspect with some nice sweetness and complexity at the end. Overall, a pretty nice, very drying and crisp beer with a lot of malts and range, as well, but also a bitter and hoppy beer that also shows sweetness. Nice to sample and a good enough option for the style, that shows more of an unfiltered Belgian IPA rather than a New Englander. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 04-November-2021 for US$3,79, canned on 28-June-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-November-2021.

Quarantine Beer #149 sampled at home on 05/25/2020. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Floral hop, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of herbal hop, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
