Take Two Pils is a step into an alternate reality for SweetWater, a head-first dive down the rabbit hole into the Wonderland world of lagers. The adventurous golden blonde German style pilsner is brewed with a mad hatter’s dose of spicy floral hops. It’s beautifully Bohemian in body, earthy in soul and it’s moving low. Go ask Alice, I think she’ll know. Call us in the morning!

12oz bottle. Hazy yellow-tan body, looks unfiltered. Foamy white head, big bubbles, soapy. Not that impressive of a Pils. Tastes like a brewpub Kolsch pretty much. Misses the mark. Faint off tones, no lagering touches. Definitely wouldn’t want a sixpack of this.

Draft sample at the Draft House Terminal B, Atlanta, GA. Clear piss color, thin head. Aroma is mild Saaz grassy hops, floral. Body, mouthfeel, texture is light. Flavor shows grain body, with a mild lasting bitterness after the sip. It has a clean finish, refreshing but simple.

From a bottle has quite a bit of that old country pilsner feel to it fer sure. Moderately refreshing with good co2 considering it was near frozen earlier.

12 oz. bottle. Clear, pale yellow, with a small, white head. Nose is light hay, resinous hops, and a touch of hallertau. Sweet and malty up front, with a bit of aggressive bitterness. Light to medium body, sticky, and creamy. Overall, this is a poor pilsener. Overhopped, and too thick on the palate.
