A pale, hoppy session ale - perfect for summer, even a Scottish summer.
Drop has been with us since the very beginning. As one of our debut beers we were looking to create a reliable, dependable session pint with a nice hoppy aroma with a smooth bitter finish. Once we did, we knew we had to keep it!

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of peach flavoured Angel Delight, apple pie and plastic toys. Flavour of apricot, grass, lemon and biscuit. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. A simple beer. Probably not one I’d buy again.

Light hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Thin malts, but they do provide dry creamy sweetness. Hops are pithy bitter with citric peel bitterness and tang. Touch of spice before the dry finish. Too dry but it is pretty drinkable.

On cask @ the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - lemon, honey and pale malt. Taste - more of the same. Oh, too sweet. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - solid but not special.

Hazy orange beer with a thin head and very light aroma of citrus. Taste is bitter and hoppy but slightly bland. Drinkable but unspectacular.

Bottle from Hippo Beers, Glasgow. Bottle conditioned at 4.2%. It pours hazy golden with a thick, rocky white head. The nose is sweet, toasty, biscuit, grain, citrus peel and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, biscuit, cereal, straw, pepper and soapy lemon peel with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate. Very dry and soapy. Ok, but I doubt I would return to it.
