A pale, hoppy session ale - perfect for summer, even a Scottish summer.

Drop has been with us since the very beginning. As one of our debut beers we were looking to create a reliable, dependable session pint with a nice hoppy aroma with a smooth bitter finish. Once we did, we knew we had to keep it!

Hazy blond colour with thin lacy head. Nicely bitter with a citrus peel element too. Not massively flavoursome but decent.

500ml bottle from my local Dobbie's Garden Centre, BBE Nov 2020. Drank at home on 3rd July 2020. Slight haze to the light golden body, even though I prevented most of the sediment from leaving the bottle, weak wispy head. Very highly carbonated, made I burp! Good hop bitterness throughout, piney and resinous.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of peach flavoured Angel Delight, apple pie and plastic toys. Flavour of apricot, grass, lemon and biscuit. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. A simple beer. Probably not one I’d buy again.
