Handpull cask at Mr Grundy’s Tavern, Derby. Light copper, some natural carbonation and very little head. Sticky crystal malt smell, a bit stale but altogether enjoyable. Taste sweet and malty until the finish where there’s a touch of bittering hop. Long balanced finish. This is one helluva malt bomb for 3.9%. Good although nothing to get overly excited about.
