Running a production brewery is tricky work. There are countless moving pieces, gizmos, gadgets, and things that can go wrong! To get luck back on our side, we brewed up a Citra and Mosaic-hopped West Coast IPA. Here's to hoping that we please the spirits with this majorly refreshing flavor profile of tangerine and grapefruit!

HOPS: New Zealand Moutere, Mosaic, Centennial

Poured from a 16 oz can dated February 2, 2021. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of grapefruit pith, orange, pine resin and hints of tropical fruit. Light cracker malt note and a bit of caramel. Hints of alcohol. Pours a very clear, brilliant gold color with a small, thick, white head that recedes to a small film that lingers on the edges and in the center. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes and a bit of caramel. Moderately strong bitterness with light alcohol notes. Moderately strong notes of grapefruit pith, pine resin, orange and tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast IPA with nice, traditional hop notes. Balanced bitterness and malt profile to go with the hops.
