Bottle from Drinks & Gifts, BB 23-10-19. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of the regular imp oatmeal stout with smokey and meaty tones and roast and caramel, plus soft vanilla and cookie from bourbon. Bit sweet in taste of caramel fudge, meat and bourbon. Slight boozy in the finish, some peat coming through. Not perfectly balanced, but barrel aging is nicely done and not too much as most others do nowadays. Base beer lost a bit of its character though, which is a pity, could be thicker perhaps. Strangely I prefer the base beer, but Im enjoying this one as well.

Bottle. Black oily pour. Aroma of strong whisk(e)y booze, licorice, chocolate and malt. Taste has mild smoke, licorice, chocolate, coffee, tarr and booze. Was hoping for more bourbon, but this heavy scotch is allright as well. Bit too much licorice for my liking though.
