Caramelised wort first-runnings and cold-brewed coffee elevate this cream ale above the norm. Roost Malton-roasted coffee does the aromatic job in this one.

Cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh, Friday 18th March 2016 in the company of Dad and Barry. Clear as a bell, perfect clarity, small white head atop. Burnt coffee beans, more burnt than roasty. The coffee is the prominent flavour here, I guess that there is some caramel sweetness, but the coffee is bolshy. Still for a lower strength beer it has a lot to offer. A7 A5 T7 P3 Ov14 3.6

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Golden with a creamy head. Has a heavy coffee aroma, with a long dry aftertaste in this respect. Thereโ€™s a light sweetened kick in its taste between these dominant roasted notes.
