Cask at The Victoria, Colchester, as Chadrock Stout. Pours very dark brown with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with lasting dark chocolate bitterness.

30th Aug 2014, Birmingham. Hand-pulled pint; the word ’Unights’ was not on the pumpclip, but this is the same beer (I think). Pours a true black with a deep tanned head. Dry and bitter stout with roasted, dark malts: some liquorice and coffee notes within the nose and flavours. My last beer of a heavy days drinking during a fun packed pub crawl with family and friends.

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Black with a creamy off-white head. Has a gritty roasted malt aroma and taste with coffee evident that lingers in the palate. Has s touch of chocolate in there too. Has a dry aftertaste.
